The WindCheetah roof rack system was designed by 4WD enthusiasts who could see the need for a better way of carrying camping and other equipment.

Unlike conventional roof racks, the WindCheetah system uses a low profile Flat-Deck which is made from HD extruded aluminium to give the best possible strength whilst keep weight down.

The low-profile nature of the rack ensures minimum wind drag which benefits fuel efficiency and also ensures easy access to underground carparks and garages when the rack is unloaded.

Incorporating a unique sliding nut channel on the top and bottom of EVERY cross slat, accessories can be attached to both the top and underneath of the flat deck.  The sliding nut securing system allows a wide range of accessories and mounting brackets can be attached - thus avoiding the need for ropes, straps or nets to secure the load.   

This ensures quick and easy access to your equipment without having to undo the whole load.

Being of modular construction, WindCheetah also offers lower "whole of life" costs because accessories can be transferred to replacement vehicles and in many cases the adjustability of the roof rack mountings mean the entire rack can be transferred to a similar size replacement vehicle.

Just as with the accessory range, the roof rack mounts attach via the sliding nut system to allow adjustment for personal preference of rack locaiton on the roof and even the height of the basket can be changed depending on your choice of under-mounted accessories such as Solar Panels, Camping Tables and custom designed equipment.
